Terms of Service for Best of Breed
This document is intended for use by players of Best of Breed (otherwise known as BoB or bestofbreedsim.com) as a rulebook for behaviour within this game. BoB staff have the final say over what constitutes a violation of these rules. BoB reserves the right to change its policies at any time. All participants of the Best of Breed simulation game are required to conduct themselves in a manner which is appropriate for all ages. After joining the game, or using the forums in any way, you are expected to read and review any rules pertaining to this site. Everything you do in the game is a privilege, not a right.
Best of Breed is a virtual dog, horse and cat game owned privately by Jasmine. The dogs, money and events in the game are only virtual (imaginary) and do not exist in the real world, only on this website.
All content found on bestofbreedsim.com is property of Best of Breed, and it’s respective owners. Use of graphics, text, code or other copyrighted material without written permission is prohibited.
- You may only have one free account. Creating multiple freeaccounts may result in suspension of your accounts. You are permitted as many subscribed accounts as you like.
- All accounts must provide a valid email address.
- Creating additional accounts when suspended will result in permanent banning of all accounts.
- You will follow any instructions given to you by official representatives of BoB administration.
- You may not engage in any conduct or communication whilst using Best of Breed which is unlawful.
- Best of Breed is intended for a mature audience aged 16+. All participants under the age of 16 should obtain parent permission to participate in Best of Breed and its affiliated services, and participants under the age of 13 are required to to play the game. Additionally, Best of Breedstrongly recommends that parents monitor their child's online activities carefully. Parents are encouraged to contact info@bestofbreedsim.com if they have questions or concerns. Best of Breed and its affiliated services are not responsible for the actions of users of any age. All users, regardless of age, are expected to assume full responsibility for any legal issues that occur while participating in the game.
- Best of Breed reserves the right to temporarily suspend access to an account or to certain functions of the game without notice.
- Players may not use Best of Breed to:
- Harrass, threaten or embarrass another player of Best of Breed, or to cause distress, discomfort or unwanted attention. Personal attacks are strictly prohibited.
- Post or transmit sexually explicit items, or point to or reference to such information.
- Post or transmit unsolicited advertising, promotional materials or other forms of solicitation.
- Engage in disruptive behaviour anywhere within Best of Breed.
- Abuse or exploit bugs, design errors or problems in the game. Player acknowledges and agrees to report all problems, bugs or errors to the administrator as soon as they are found.
- Use any scripting or macroing tools, hardware or software that may be damageable to the game.
- Use any game hacking/cheating/altering software or tools
- Any disassembly or modification of any of the Game's executable code, databases and/or files.
- "Role playing" is not an excuse for violating any policy.
If you as a player are experiencing harrassment from another player or witness any of the above rules being violated please report them to Best of Breed immediately.
If unsatisfied with any account upgrades, please send an email to support within 14 days of the upgrade. Once your request has been approved, we will refund the payment made and set your account back to its previous unpaid state.
If your account is suspended for violation of game rules or the terms of service, you will not recieve a refund of any monies paid.
Best of Breed collects your email address and IP address. The email address is only used to send password and account notifications. Your IP address is used to track users within the site. We do not sell or distribute any information such as email addresses, usernames or passwords given to us outside of Best of Breed. A valid email address is needed to complete the joining process.
